Upgrades for touring

#1 Post by peewee21 » Wed Feb 14, 2018 11:26 am

Hi All,

Now that the 2000 estate is stripped and ready for welding I am now looking to the upgrade options. I am looking at using the care for touring and distance with performance therefore wondering on suitable upgrades.

Decisions so far but looking for recommendations
PAS & ARB kits acquired
need a new wireing loom to include alternator, hazard and halogen upgrades. Should i go for modern fuses or stick to original? any other electrical upgrades?
will go for Polly bushes all round

options,
what suspension would be best.
should i go for Cv or unrated UJ's
would like a little more performance but not going silly
Should the brakes be upgraded? all pipes have been removed so should i go for dual line? or stags brakes?

Have i overlooked anything?

all ideas welcomed as there are just too many shiny parts from suppliers
Ian Peacock
still sane? definitely not!!
