This is the final statement on the new rules from next year.
Notice that the 15% power increase rule has gone - now any engine of the same basic block or an available option or equivalent conversion of the time is permitted, so 2500 in a 2000 will be permitted.
General acceptance of any modification on the grounds of safety or improved efficiency
Self-certification on the first licence application after May. No need to do anything until then.
In cases of doubt approved clubs (ours?) will be the ultimate arbiters.
So that's all right, much better outcome than we could possibly have hoped for.
Mot exemption from next year!
