Hi fellow members,
I'm looking for the contact details for John Locking up in or around the Manchester area please? I moved to France a couple of years ago and lost them.
Thanks in advance............

Tony,
Spoken to JL about another matter this morning. Number is still current, although it blocks international calls! Told him of your wish to get in touch. Is it about some fuel injection equipment?

Re: Contact details for John Locking?
Hi John,
Thanks for letting me know, that explains why he doesn't pick up then - and it's no good for me to keep trying from France!
Yeh... Many years ago (early nineties) I bought a pair of Lucas PI Setting Gauges (vacuum & fuel pressure) in their original box from Richard Edgington (spelling?) and later lent them to Geof Brown when he showed his Mk11 PI on the circuit. He then lent them onto the late John Mark and John Locking "rescued" them for safe keeping knowing they belonged to me. Anyway, I used to keep in touch with John Locking but not on a particularly regular basis and mentioned to him that he may as well keep the gauges until I needed them - and that time is now.
Would you mind, the next time you speak to John, ask him if he still has them please? If he does could he post them to Flint, Cheshire or drop them off if he's ever in that neck of the woods please? I will gladly reimburse his expenses.
Thanks again John, it's very much appreciated!

Re: Contact details for John Locking?
Hi Tony,
It's not surprising how sometimes equipment such as this doesn't find its way back to its rightful owner perhaps as quickly as it should, and is easy to lose track of it!!
If you want to PM me your contact details and address to send / take the equipment to, then I will pass them on to him to contact you to arrange.
Regards,
John
