A car as an ornament
As a car lover I have always enjoyed all aspects of ownership, the noise, smell, feel of driving them along with the cleaning and upkeep. It has never been to the detriment of using them though. Not for me a garage queen.
I'm just watching the opening credits of the Italian job and to be honest I could make an exception for a Miura. I could just sit in the garage looking at it. It is without doubt the only car of it's type that I would buy if we won an insane amount on the lottery. You can keep your DB5s, Ferraris etc.
Is it just me or is there a car you could just gaze at?

Re: A car as an ornament
Well, Colin, not for me anything too exotic. Personal choice from that film would be one (or all!) of the Cooper S's. Had one once & sold it, (bad mistake) best fun car ever.
If I were to win the lottery though I could have a space in my large garage for an AC Cobra and a few other British built classics that don't have all this namby pamby ABS, traction control, engine management and the like!

Hello Ted,
"S*d this having a fancy car in a garage as an ornament"
Why would you not drive it, about twenty years ago I bought my boyhood dream car and ran it as an every day car, rain snow or even when the sun shone for quite a few years.

Hello Ted,
you must have some extremely large dogs or a lot of them, as for rubbish, a suitable trailer.
