When looking at the members list I saw there was no reference to the cars owned by the members. Would this not be interesting for the other members? For example, if someone in the states has a Triumph 2000 wouldn\'t it be nice to know that there is a 2nd person in the states with such a car?. In fact I will go one step further why can\'t we have a list of all cars with owners. I assume if the membership number is used as a login and a password, this would be sufficient security for this type of information.

Interesting idea Peter. Mine is a 1975 mark 2 2500TC in Leicester.
Following on from your idea, there are a fair few register members but not too many Triumphs. So I bet that at least some of us have previously owned each others cars without necessarily realising it.
Mine is JYD 224N, it\'s 27 years old with 5 previous owners - anyone ever had this car ?
Jon.

Hello

My name is Faidon and i have just registered in your forums.Greetings
I live in Greece, Athens and i have a 1967 white left hand drive MK1 2000 (version 2).

Trivia : My father ordered the car in 1967 while he was in cyprus for bysiness, arrived from UK 6 months after the order and run there for two years with english plates. Then when returned to Athens, they were replaced with greek plates.
During the 6 months after the order took place, Standard company kept sending letters periodically informing him for the status of the car (!)(production/transfer status etc). Such professionalism is not met even by todays standards in some companies.

It had red interrior (matador red leather with burgundy red carpets), but was changed to blue in 1985. I hope to restore the original specification some time in the future.
Mechanically is in very good condition, and is still silent on the highway.Only wind noise is audible. However some tidy up at the wing arches, nose cone, and interrior is needed.
