Forum Administration

I'm afraid I am having difficulties with the forum in that I can't log on as an Administrator. To be able to do any of the administration actions (such as authorising new members etc) I normally log in to the administrator part of the forum but the Wordfence Firewall that protects the forum from rogue actions is also stopping me from getting in.

This is being investigated and hopefully will be resolved soon. I thank you all for your patience.

Cheers,
Mike Stevens.

I'm afraid I am again stopped from logging into the forum as administrator. This means that I can't get to authorise new members etc.

I have reported the problem and am hopeful that "normal service will be resumed soon"!

Thanks for your patience.

Cheers,
Mike.

I'm pleased to say that Andy has resolved my admin logging-on problem.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Cheers,
Mike.

Hi Mike,
Just for your info, I have put a post in the topic PI conversion - Fuel Lines 're the issue of duplicate posts. The message I got popped up again today....
May be it's 'user error' !?

Got this message today Mike after trying to post a reply in 'Running issues - does cold air onto the carbs.......'
I waited after getting the message and some seconds later the reply was posted. Had I pressed submit again, would that have been a cause of a possible duplicate post?

Is it just me getting these messages regularly when I press the submit button to post a reply?

Hi John,

Yes, i get those message most (but not all) of the time. I tend to copy the post onto the clipboard before I click 'submit' (just in case it all gets lost) but it has always remembered the post when I get back to that topic.

I have no idea why but I think it might be associated with the speed of the forum. It does seem to be very slow this morning (we're still here in Normandy but I don't think that is relevant) so it'll be intersting to see if I get the gobbledegook this time!

Cheers,
Mike.
