Clutch master wanted

#1 Post by Sloppy 2000 » Sun Dec 26, 2021 5:39 pm

Hi.

I have hit a bit of a problem. I think my car came to me with the wrong clutch master. I replaced the servo exactly for what I had on there. But has to remove clutch master. When I did I noticed it was a bit crushed. Well it's been on there ever since I got it about 5 years ago. Anyway it worked. Put it back on. Worked fine. Then I found a drip 😕. According to the chassis number. It ought to have later one on. Jonny fog thinks it probably should be. The reservior is further away from the bulkhead and fits past the bigger servo on the later MK1. Mine is a 68.
It's kept me off the road a while. CW doesn't have one. Is there anyone out there that could help?

Have you tried Andy Harrison - he's often a great person to ask for second hand parts. Pm me if you need a number

Maybe I should have posted the fact, but I have managed to help Jeff out with a used late Mk1 / Mk2 master cylinder, resevoir and bracket.
