Re: Converting MK2 to Tandem Master Cylidner
I used a Stag M/cyl, need to replace the 4-way union on the inner wing with a 3-way and run a rear brake line down to splice into the rear circuit. I did replace all components with Stag parts however, including the Servo.

ok....the question is: is it "just" a direct swap of the cylinders, without using the stag´s servo?

You will have to change the 4-way union to a 3-way union and connect the rear circuit from the m/cyl to the rear circuit.GinettaG15 wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2023 7:37 pmok....the question is: is it "just" a direct swap of the cylinders, without using the stag´s servo?

so i just buy the tandem, change some piping and thats it? brake balance won´t be negatively effected (over-braking at rear?)

spring and plunger on servo side are not present at the single-cylinder.
7/8" bore diamter looks 2mm bigger than the single one?

Did you get an answer to this question? Can you use the stock, single system servo, or do you need to install the dual system servo?
