radders has hinted to me that these are becomming very hard to get hold of, and that himself and a few others he knows want some, if there is enough call for them, i will enquire into getting them made.

Been so long since I did anything with mine I have forgotten a lot now. Are Mk2 backplates the same size ? I seem to remember thinking it might be a good idea to fit Mk1 backplates with manual adjusters on my Mk2 as the auto adjusters didn't seem to work very well.
Not sure if this is a good idea but might make re-making them more worthwhile if you could fit them on both.
