Not sure I'm reading this right, but I wouldn't think you could fit the fan assembly without removing the radiator first, or is that not what you meant?
Still, getting away from a viscous fan to an electric fan or a fixed fan is probably a good idea. ( :idea: Note to self, must source another Kenlowe fan motor, or get mine repaired, got yellow fixed fan on at the mo)

Probably stating the obvious but I assume you have the radiator out before trying to fit the viscous fan. :shock:

yes, radiator out.

with fan on, there isn't enough clearance to get the rad back in.

ordered an electric fan now, so I have a fan & Viscous coupling up for sale if anybody is interested?!
