Can anyone please tell me what the recommended pressure is for a 2500S saloon on the correct 14" Stag Alloys.

Re: Tyre pressures.
I would argue slightly different Lee!
2500S saloons are 26 front and 26 rear - the rears increased to 30 when towing or fully laden.
Estate models are 26 front and 34 rear under all conditions.
This is according to the original BL handbook for my 2500S fitted with 175/14 (radial) tyres.
John.
P.S. Surely you mean the genuine 'S' alloys, Stan? They wouldn't be the genuine alloy being Stag alloys!!! (Although they are the same rim, of course, albeit the tyre size on the Stag is 185/14......)

Actually, 185/14 and 175/14 were originally fitted to the Stag, the smaller size later in production.johnnydog wrote: albeit the tyre size on the Stag is 185/14

Re: Tyre pressures.
Same wheels surely? Our S's had 14 inch alloy wheels as standard.

Re: Tyre pressures.
Same wheels but different tyres. 2500S had 175/14, Stag had 185/14. Never knew later Stags had 175 though.
So, what tyre pressures should my Stag Estate with 205/60/15 tyres on be at? Guessing about 30 front 36 rear?

Re: Tyre pressures.
If specifics are the order of the day, then 185/70 14 tyres are listed as well as 185 14 tyres in the 1970 edition of the Stag handbook.
The 1974 sales brochure gives the option of light alloy wheels.
The 1976 sales brochure gives the option of 175 or 185 tyres available for the Stag.
Cheers,
John
