Thanks Dave. I shall have a good look!
Cheers,
Mike.

Just the Mk.1, I believe.Dave B wrote:I would be very surprised if you didn't. As you will know, 'our' pads (for mk2s) also suit various Rover/MG/Triumph and others including some Transit van models!Mike Stevens wrote:I've now run out of OEM pads. I wonder if I could find any at Stoneleigh?

Although Stag / Mk2 2000 (and late Mk1 2000 / PI) pads are identical, autojumblers seem to label them as Stag pads and ask twice the price for them!Mike Stevens wrote:I've now run out of OEM pads. I wonder if I could find any at Stoneleigh?

Re: New disks and pads
Actually, I thought that when new, the Stag and Mk2 pads were different. I'm pretty sure that the original part numbers aren't the same.johnnydog wrote:Although Stag / Mk2 2000 (and late Mk1 2000 / PI) pads are identical, autojumblers seem to label them as Stag pads and ask twice the price for them!
Nowadays, of course it is easier to quote the same part for both.

Mike.

Re: New disks and pads
Yes, Mike, you are correct. I have just checked my Lockheed parts book and the late Mk1 /PI and all Mk2 models are listed as LDB740 whilst the Stag are listed LDB744.
So there must be a difference, but I don't what it is.
Lockheed pads came with anti rattle shims and pins; maybe these were slightly different in size/ length as I still believe the pads were interchangeable....????
Anyone.....??
