Sticking Throttle Fixed ??

I've always had trouble with the S's throttle sticking/jerking.
Decided to have a good look as everything (for the time being) is fixed. Installed a new cable during the rebuild as old one was frayed . Didn't fix it so dropped the cable from the carbs and ran some oil down inside it. No change.
In the end I pulled the roller and cam assembly off the linkage, a horrible job with the manifold still on the car (even worse to put back on, much swearing and skinned hands and about 2 hours later had the bolts back in.)
Anyway I found the nylon roller had seized on the shaft and sticking on the cam. I made up a new shaft and fitted two 3/8"x 3/16" ball races. Pics show 2 bearings as I couldn't get one wide enough to do the job. Dirt cheap as they're Chinese but seem to do the job. Nice smooth throttle, I hope it lasts.
