Help needed with crank pulley sizes?

#1 Post by andyborris » Mon Mar 14, 2011 12:29 pm

I'm hoping to improve on the design of the EDIS trigger wheels that Tim cut.

While the first batch work fine, (on my car at least )! I'm sure I can make them easier to fit.

So I'm asking for measurements of the crank pulleys fitted to all the many types of big 6 engines, I'd also like the same measurement for the small Triumph engines, because there might be some crossover!

So if you can provide an accurate measurement of the diameter of the pulley shoulder (engine side)and as close to the damper as possible please, send me a private message, with the dimension and which engine it's for please.

I think it's a hard thing to measure accurately on the car, so I'm asking for "bench" measurements only please (unless you're really sure it's accurate!).

Any help will be gratefully accepted.

Thanks

Andy
