Another update!!

Apparently one of the guys has done some strut braces before and has suggested steel rather than alloy, as alloy has a tendancy to crack.

So I am proceeding with having a prototype made from steel.

Once that is done I will be looking at finishes etc.

I propose having the majority finished in primer. Unless there is enough demand for ready painted ones in blue black yellow whatever.

I will also look at having some chromed, but this will depend on enough people wanting it to keep the cost down.

Cheers

How about having them powder coated? might be more durable than if painted due to engine bay temp etc?

Powder coating is cheap and easy and you can choose whatever colour floats your boat too.

Its something I am looking at (powdercoat place near me).

Although I have reservations about how cheap it actually is if everyone wanted a different colour!

I will have to get a price per item and let people make up their own minds. Paint, Chrome, Powdercoat, or if your cheap BARE

Gave the brace a try out over the weekend, blimey did it make a difference!!

I thought the car was reasonably well behaved before, it doesn't seem as wobbly round fast hard corners now.

Gave it a good thrashing about to thoroughly test it :D :D :D :D :D

Shame the car doesn't seem to want to go faster than 100mph (on a private road of course).

Got some pics to put up with it on the car when i can find my data cable :x
