Does anybody know what glue was used for sticking the grill badge in place? My badge has vanished and Chris has supplied me with another one. Normally the grill badges are still in place so the glue must have been pretty good.

I've used automotive carpet / trim adhesive in spray cans, but also Evostick for the exact same job. Both are contact adhesives. You can also use standard carpet spray adhesive as there isn't any cellulose paint involved. Just clean up and roughen each surface very slightly, then mask surrounding area of the grill first to avoid overspray if using a spray adhesive.

I thought that as well make sure you get it in the correct position as it’s difficult to re position once you bring it into contact
