what product do you use for the maintenance,protection of the vinyl part of the dashboard;i use armorall and my dash is perfect but i am worried after reading various articles that it could be harmfull on the long term

I find a layer of dust normally does the trick!
Those trim wipes seem to be quite good though.

I always use auto Glym and have done for years without any adverse effect.
