Lots of spares

#1 Post by James Harris » Mon Oct 19, 2015 8:30 am

Having a clearout of the shed after 30 years. 10 Triumph 2000/2.5 radiators, all were kept because they were useable but storage has taken its toll. Would they be useful as a job lot to a classic car radiator restorer?
6 differentials all good when they were put into storage all still full of oil. From various models of the 2000/2.5 range so various ratios. Again would they be of benefit to a classic car transmission company?
5 or 6 sets of doors saloon and estate all kept because they were good.
Bonnets and boot lids.
Couple of secondhand Dolomite front wings and a bonnet.
Stag engine been sat for 20 years in the garage. One head stud sheared.
Set of Strmberg carbs for the Stag engine.
Several sets of SU carbs on 6 pot manifolds for 2000/2.5 range.
Manifolds and injectors for 2.5 PI came off a car 25 years ago.
Any use to anyone?

This hoard is located in Redhill, Surrey which throws a spanner in the works for some who are located further afield. Open to offers. These have to go before December.

Sorry everything has gone to a Triumph spares dealer and his donation sent to Help for Heroes.

Yes Mike seems like a really nice chap and after he realised the size of the hoard he increased his donantion. H4H sent back a really nice letter even highlighting a particular individual that will benefit from the donation. So I'm pleased that 30 years worth of saved parts didn't all just end up in landfill, some Triumphs will benefit from spare parts and H4H benefitted on top.
Thank you Bill for your words.
Happy Christmas everyone.
