Re: Free Mk2 2000 in Swindon
This car is not being treated as a breaker. The guy wants it all to go in one hit because storage has gone and it is in the way, with only a few bits already stored separately possibly being for sale - seats, engine gearbox. I'll post if these become available BUT I understand it has found a home bu...

Re: Free Mk2 2000 in Swindon
The donor wants the car gone in one hit - no space.
If it goes for scrap stuff like the seats may be for sale as it can be stored while awaiting a buyer.
However thier is someone interested in taking everything.

Free Mk2 2000 in Swindon
Hope OK to put here as it is not really a spares matter. I have had someone contact me about a 2000 saloon that they need to get rid of. This is the info he has given me. Bodywork is rusty (in places very) but interior trim has been removed and stored safely. The engine and gearbox are removed but M...

Re: Mk2 Front Wings.
Steve Steve the thing is that we are only really hearing your side of things - Lloyd is a really nice guy and not into these public slanging matches. Because things are so public in this dispute it is difficult for me to intercede unless Lloyd is happy for me to do so, and if I did so it would all b...

Re: Mk2 Front Wings.
STEVE, i have offered you a refund 3 times over the last year or so, because you said you were skint, way before you collected your panels, first you said yes, then you said no, then you said yes and then you said no, then you said yes and then you said no again, and now your last email states you ...

I'll be in Woodie (WDE 76K) my green Mk2 2500 estate with my cohorts Gordon Townley (who I did it with in 2014) and Andrew Newman.

Re: Difference between Mk1 and Mk2 PI wheel trims
Been through all this saga with my stock of trims which I was sorting for the Mk1 PI estate! The narrower ring is to use on the Mk1 (2000 or PI) type wheel as it is 4 1/2inch rim as opposed to 5 inch on Mk2 which uses the wider ring. Rim size for both is 13 inch. A useful check is to look at the tri...

Re: Formula steering wheels and one boss
Boss will need fiddling with to make horn set up work.
The plastic tube needs flange trimming off and tube can be inserted into back of boss to make up the space if used on a Mk1.
Pics show the boss in parts and assembled.
Other info as above
