Glad to hear that you are getting there,front panels are getting scarce if things ain't what they should be!!!I just spent £800 on a front brake/hub set up for the mini,and only after a hard day's run(200 miles single track roads) are they starting to come good,thought I'd thrown my money away!!Good...

This is going to sound daft-but have you got the calipers on the correct sides?,you haven't mixed up the sides,have you?Iv'e been caught by this before with a mini set up I was building.Replaced master cylinder,repiped it twice,tried all-calipers on wrong sides,air would not release as top nipple wa...

Looking for a plug
Can anybody help please,I'm looking to find a two pin plug which fits the two pin socket mounted on the nearside inner valence on my Mk1.I believe it is for a handlamp,etc.? Can some one put me on the right bus please! Thanks,Bill.

Front valence,rear valence,both sills,both sides ALL repainted on a 28000 mile car?Mmmmmmm--maybe I'm expecting too much?? A beautiful white Mk2 was on the register stand at Balado last Sunday,15000 miles!! Ex Hampshire car. PS.Thanks for your hospitality,Les.

I think you will find that the spade terminals will cause the three horns to sound at the same time,as long as they are energised at the same time as the two post terminals.Can you post your outcome? Bill.

Hi Dave,Ken is right on the money with your horns.If the two post terminals are supplied,the horns are musical.If the supply is then looped to the top two spades(with the posts still supplied) this shuts over/opens up galleries to allow the horns to all blow together,giving a sweet note usually!As f...

Whoops Owen. Do you realise that what you are proposing is illegal - but then many people do not realise this anyway. The towing laws introduced quite a few years ago put strict limits on what a vehicle can tow - basically you cannot tow a weight any more than the vehicle weighs unless the vehicle ...

Lieghten,if you want to save weight,what I used to do when I raced was to"skin" the panels,I.E.,cut out all the skeleton to leave the bonnet/boot skin itself.Only problem you have there is,you need to then "pin" your panels on,one in each corner as all hinge/catch metal and panels will have been rem...
