We are in!
I bet those wheels are like new now Julian, got to be worth saving those expensive 185x13 tyres for less frantic use!

Re: Triumph/MG Spares Day
Well Amanda and I had a good time and thanks for the kind words Jim. Stoneleigh has evolved a lot over the years we have been doing the stands, the carpet and heating are very big pluses as far as we can see. I managed a bit of haggling and came home with more than I left home with (well except mone...

Re: Odometer not working consistently...
We had similar with the estate Jim. Eventually the speedo cable snapped. When I looked the plastic covering on the outer cable had got hot, become brittle and fallen off allowing the inner cable to get wet and stick/rust. The new cable has cured (so far) the issues. Certainly cheaper to check this a...

Practical Classics restoration of the year
Alan Chatterton's Lines estate is one of the cars up for this year's award, the first stage of which is a public vote. The top ten cars will be at the Restoration show in March, wouldn't it be great for the profile of 'our cars' if a big saloon had made it to this stage? You can vote for Alan's car ...

Re: Front/Rear Spring Choices
I did originally have CW 395lb rear springs on the Pi, the original rears were very tired and even too kids in the back mde the suspension bottom over bumps. They were tired. The 395lb springs were good, but if towing the trailer could bounce a bit. They were more comfortable for one up driving in n...

Re: Front/Rear Spring Choices
The estate is standard springs and inserts on the front, 525lb CW springs on the rear with Rimmers shocks. The rears were very tired and different free lengths when replaced. The car had an unladen lean before too! The Pi has 205/400lb CW progressives on the front, they are I believe 1" lower. Rears...

Re: Front Seats
And XJ-S, SAAB seats and E36 BMW have also been fitted.
We have Rover 620Ti seats in the estate and a pair of Alfa 156 ones to go in the Pi.
