Re: Rubber steering coupling - does this look right?
John, Hope you are well. You stated in this thread..whereas manual steering models had solid upper and lower UJ couplings with a longer solid shaft between them. Looking forward, would this 2 U/J system fit my car, as I'm sure that my last one of the same year had the "solid" shaft fitted.I'm sure at...

I have three of these chargers, from Lidl, so in effect the same units! All bought at different times, all charging the Triumph, Minivan and one of the bikes with no issues at all.A definite good value for money item(s).

Re: Mk1 suspension wanted
Guys, I think I would be sorely tempted to makeup a bolted wooden structure/bed to sit the shell on. As it's a bare shell, it could be ratchet strapped onto the bed for ease. Also, pneumatic wheelbarrow style wheel assemblies are available,,,and are surprisingly cheap---see Fleabay. A bit of conduit...

Re: Mk2 power steering
Wellcome to the forum! John is on the ball with his information, but if you don't need to go down the originality route, electric power steering is a popular route with many, with the Corsa system being a favourite. An advantage of this system is that it is weight adjustable to suit your brute streng...

Well done John, your mind is now at rest, and no doubt your sump pan is now very clean! Good to see it made it all the way downwind probably :?: wouldn't have caused harm If you had surmised it went into the sump, but weren't actually sure,I am certain you would not rest easy Congratulations, now for ...

Re: Oil pressure switch thread
I'd go with Alec here, couple of hits and then Allen socket on bar. I would be wary of using the impact driver with the bits I have found they will shatter easier when the impact driver is thwacked.Try and get as short as possibleAllen bit Good luck!
