Where are they now?
So I have been wondering what has happened to all the 2000s that used to appear at shows,in magazines and at the nationals over the years,what reg numbers do we remember and do we know where the cars are now?

Got the oil now,all fine,so is it a case of just draining the gearbox and refilling through the dipstick tube,manual says its 6 pints on a drain.

Had a look at my chassis number and its MB102,... so this must mean it has the early brakes?,it was made and registered mid Aug 68,but the pads appear to be the later MK1/MK2 items,can you actually fit these to earlier discs?they are the same pads as I removed,still have them,Lockhead items.

Great,thanks,i have seen it and ordered it,is it worth removing the sump to clean it out etc,or is there not much point,is there a filter there that can be cleaned aswell?

Thinking about doing an oil change on the gearbox,i know I won,t get all the oil changed in one go and have to maybe do the change a few times,what gearbox oil should I use? and how much on a drain only,i can,t find my workshop manual(again!)

Great help,i did think it was the thickness but wasn,t sure 100%,so if I have 500 are these the same pads/discs used on MK2s?

I see that's there are a couple of different options for MK1 front brakes,i want to replace the pads and discs,maybe the calipers,i see theres always a 350" or 500" option,what does this refer to?
