Back in the day (with friends Capris) we used to shorten the lever. Not sure if it made much difference but like side stripes it gave the impression of a faster change.

You need to raise the front of the car pretty high to drop out below, you also need to drop off much of the front suspension for access. From above leaves you with very little space forward of the engine to slide it free from the ge...

Re: Inertia switch for PI fuel cutoff
Everytime I open the pi bonnet I give the cut off switch a quick pull up and down. Keeps the contacts clean.

Re: Tailgate Struts
I remember getting hit by the tailgate the morning of the 2010 (I think) RBRR as I dropped the rear end of the car off the trolley jack. This made the open tailgate drop and I got a glancing blow to the side of the head from the hook part of the release button on the outside of the tailgate. I don't...

Re: rbrr 2016 who's in
the wheels are indeed shiny colin What size tyre do i need? They are shiny Julian. For an almost exact rolling circumference on a 14" wheel you need 195/70/14 tyres, although some 175HR14s as fitted to the S originally will be fairly close as would 185/70/14. As with the original 13" tyres, be care...
