Re: Positive camber?
The shim washers do make quite a difference. Where they are fitted their thickness has quite an effect. If the springs are making the front that much higher then as Ted said it will affect the front end geometry a lot. I swapped pretty much all of my suspension for slightly uprated parts from Chris ...

Re: Positive camber?
Hi You say that the wheels are in at the top. To me that would indicate that the car has negative camber. If your wheels are like this /----\ looking from the front or rear of the car than that is negative. If your wheels are like this \----/ then that is positive camber. Normally the heigher the fr...

Not clever really all I could think of at the time. I did see the car for sale though. Thankfully it didn't end up on the show meeting an unpleasant end.Huff wrote: So Captain Slow is just a clever name then!

Re: New Member
When I got my car it was a 2000 auto. It was ok but i forget the number of times it stalled and I forgot to put it in park or neutral before getting it going again. Once the carburettors were fixed I was alright but the lure of more power from the 2.5 and overdrive got the better of me. Mine has a 3...

Re: New Member
Hello I haven't posted on here before but spotted your comment about swapping to a manual gearbox. I have done the same on my car and thought it worth mentioning that it might be worth keeping a few other parts as well, just in case you haven't already got a list that is ! Parts I had to get were, p...
