Ok. Let us know when the engine is back in and running and we can guide you through some checks and tests. It's not that difficult and there are adjustments you can make to get it running correctly. Hopefully the MU won't need replacing.

With all PI systems, it relies on vacuum to give accurate fueling. Before you start with the MU, everything else must be perfect. Ignition system, timing and valve clearances all need to be spot on. You can't use the stag mounting points, that is where the engine crossmember mounts, and you need that to hold the engine in!! Stag item does fit, (I have one on mine) but as Mike says, the stag one mounts to the body, but uses the holes in the chassis rails that a 2000 engine crossmember fits to, so you can't.
