Driving to my wife's hospital and back I have noticed some drumming. It can't be my car is perfect. :D :D :D Hum. OK her we go. New diff cone. New bushes at the rear. Prop proffesionally balanced. Does anybody know where I can get a front Rubbing strip for my MKII 2000? Chris does not have any and Rimmers also.

Mike I have a feeling you might be right. I think the Alternator was not charging properly. I have tested it and the values are OK but the battery was low. I have cleaned up the battery posts and Vacelined them. They looked OK but just be on the safe side. The measured values are now somewhat better...
