Heater temperature
What temperature should the air be from the heater? At the moment in NZ it is very hot, just had heater fixed so hard to tell, but not sure if it is putting out enough heat (not sure its actually working).

Heater not working
I went for a ride yesterday and found the heater not warming up (winter in NZ) - MK2 2000TC. What could be causing that? Would appreciate your input.

Re: Too much oil
Thanks Paul - checked the oil, definitely petrol smell, getting fixed on Monday - that's what it was. This forum is brilliant!

Wind noise
Hi - I have a 2000TC 1978 - I find there is a lot of wind noise on the open road - is this normal? It seems to come from around the top of the front doors - the rubbers look ok.

Yes you are correct - the gear lever does not go into the Reverse position.

No reverse
Hi - I have just had my clutch replaced by a mechanic. Just been for a drive, got home and now can't get it into reverse. I am going to take it back to the mechanic but would like to have an idea as to what it could be - any suggestions would be great.

Re: Maintenance programme
Thanks for comments. Which brand / model of distributor would you suggest? There seems to be a wide price range.
