It needs to be 3.3m long for my application (Dolomite front screen) so I will have to buy two 'screen rubbers from Chris Witor and join them.

Not the prettiest solution,
I retained the original cap and fitted a lock into the filler flap.
(This lock actually came from an Austin Ambassador but there were lots of other suitable ones).
