Hi Lloyd
How are things going with the wings now ? Fingers crossed the sills are still going to be ready soon as the manufacturers have promised.
Posts about panels have gone a bit quiet of late !

Re: inner outer arch bowls
Forgive me for asking but I haven't looked under my car for a while. Can you get in to weld the bowl if it's a complete OE panel ? It would be difficult if only fitting a repair size wheelarch panel plus on an otherwise tidy car would mean doing paintwork in the engine compartment. As you have had 3...

Re: mk2 front wings ready
Hi Lloyd I don't think thanks covers it ! With the extra height I can completely cut off the previous repair on my drivers side wing and do it all again properly. As I haven't done any repairs to my wings before I don't know what bits I am likely to need. Is there any chance someone could put a pict...

Re: mk2 front wings ready
I was going to ask Lloyd about how they will be packaged and forgot all about it. I don't know if they will stack, possibly not so it might be safer to put the wings ordered by others in boxes. I've had one other person ask if I can collect some, think they wanted a pair so I might be getting tight ...

Re: Spark plugs
I've always used NGK plugs and had them recommended by a couple of rolling road owners. I ended up using triple electrode ones in my car although there wasn't any real difference, I can't remember if it was a 5 or a 6 though. What state are the old ones in when they were removed ? I wonder if you ha...

Re: Inner Wheel Arch Repair Panels.
I know in the past people have managed to use Volvo 240 rear wheel arch repair panels to fix MK2's, I wonder if there is an inner arch repair for them that might be close-ish.
I can see myself wandering around classic shows with a 2000 front arch template checking all the cars.

Re: My 2000
Mines probably the same stuff but dark brown.
One day when I have fixed the wings I will get to drive it again !

Re: My 2000
That look really nice.
When I got mine it had suffered a lot through lack of use, it's probably as bad again now !
What interior has it got, having done such low miles I bet it's pretty nice.
