Devon,like Cornwall, isn't awash with good car painters but I found my chap through word of mouth,I had a look at his work and reckoned that at 2500 gbp I got a very good job.The car was stripped ,ie windows ,trim and lights out. CW supplies a number of exhaust options the largest, or biggest bore, is 2 1/8 inch and can be had without a central silencer piece, and it is noisy, but in a 'positive' sort of way. Other options soften the straight six growl. Not sure if the bigger bore really improves gas flows and therefore perf...

thats a real shame Ted, i already have a nice set of tan leather Mk1 seats otherwise i would make an offer. I have a similar problem with some Mk1 steel wheels and stag alloys, no doubt they will have to be weighed in and disposed of,
