Re: Stunning Mk2 P.I in this months Classic & Sports Car...

Just received the other photos taken on the day by C&SC Chief Photographer, Tony Baker... If you think the PI looked dynamic in the cornering shot, I've got proofs from Tony capturing me chucking it around that bend in full Sweeney mode  Oh, and the car has never looked that clean before or sin...

Re: P.I running issues.

Is the distributor cam free to rotate on the shaft? Mine was rusted so the mechanical advance was all or nothing, and the timing at idle would vary   Simple to check, by grabbing the rotor arm and seeing if it moves freely and springs back.

Re: Rocker cover removal on a P.I

No need to remove the injector hoses, just undo the three injector keeper plates and withdraw the injectors. Removing the hoses can lead to bleeding issues. Whilst the rocker cover is off, check the valve clearances, these are crucial on a PI. Colin. Echoing Colin's words, I'd also remove the rocke...

Wanted: parts catalogue to cover 1973 PI

Hello :D

Yes, I'm after an original parts catalogue that will cover my 1973 PI. Has anyone got a spare or unloved copy they'd like to move on, please?

Thanks
