Odometer not working consistently...

Yes, if you don't drive your Big Six regularly, they like to show their disapproval :lol:

The odometer is working for a few miles then slows and then stops, noticed by seeing what the trip is up to. Meanwhile, the speedometer is working perfectly!

Is it time to strip it down and give it a clean?

I'm on Stag steel rims with Vredestein Quatrac3 tyres, 185/70 R14 - very happy, plenty of grip in both dry and wet conditions Only problem is, they haven't lasted very long...perhaps that's because they are a M+S tyre. Rebuilding a manual steering rack

Hello!

I'll soon need to rebuild the rack on my car, since it's got a bit of play in it. What usually causes this? I've not had a rack in bits before, but have read the works manual and see that various components could wear...
