Re: What flavour of exhaust?

Moss have some mild steel 6-3-1's in stock. Not sure if they will be suitable for your installation, but might be worth giving them a call.

Re: oil

Valvoline do a 20w50 racing oil, but its about £30 for 5 ltr This is what I use in the PI and Stag. It's often available at a good discount from Euro Car Parts. VR1 from Eurocar gets my vote, but I only buy it when its on a good discount. Usually 25% or 30% off and they include free delivery. :D

Re: Spigot Bush

I remember reading in a car mag years ago about a E'Type Jaguar that had difficulty engaging/disengaging gears whilst the clutch was depressed.

The cause was a failed (broken) clutch spigot bearing.

Re: Stainless Steel Exhaust

I'm a bit late to this thread, as always. A couple of thoughts,

1) the OE exhaust is three silencers not two.
2) the small bore for the estates may be to try an prevent the 'booming' inside the passenger compartment.

Re: Attention estate owners

Is this 'feature' a cause of self opening tailgates, when bends are taken in an 'enthusiastic manner?

Re: Seat Diaphrams

There was talk of having an "interested parties" list at STAR 90 Gaydon for the seat diaphams.

Is this still planned?

Seeing as I have too many big Triumphs.... :P I want some!
