Hi having owned several 2.5pi's saloons and estates it does depend on your right foot. But on a long run cross country 26/27 mpg, motorway you can get 30 keeping to the speed limits. Around town in a cold winter on a short journey (unlikely these days) 17/18 mpg. Towing expect very low 20's even les...

Eureka. I have it or in about a months time you will have it. The gear lever is found. Its is the shorter one because I also have the longer one in the same box of bits. So will bring it to the National John.

HI John,

If I can get Mandy up to speed on driving Triumphs it could be both. Otherwise the MK1, It is 49 years old this year. I better start searching for the part it could take a day or two in the garage.

Will be bringing one Pi's. If I have a fuel tanker to follow I could bring two but that could be a logistical nightmare later on. We are continuing our hols in Devon for another week. I'll have a think about it. Also the MK2 is a pig to steer no PAS, got lazy since my youth. I count 39 sleeps to go ...

Where do you find these cars. Keep up the great work. Where do you find the time/energy these are big projects you are taking on so impressed. Don't get the parts mixed up between cars. I jest hats off to you.

I may have one I'll have to dig around in the garage etc. But it should still be there. Are you at the National. If I find it I'll bring it along.
