Re: Historic Marathon Rally Show, Gaydon, Sunday 31st May
Anne and I attended the show and had a good time. Lots of great cars to see. However at Ted Taylor's request we lent the organisers some two way radios to assist with the event. Sadly it appears that one of the radios has gone missing :(. These are expensive items, and it would be good if it could b...

Re: Spares service /breakdown service
Ted, thats a real shame. I wish I could have helped more, but with work, and recently family commitments I simply couldn't do it. Its a sad reflection upon the 2000 register, especially when ( as a member ) of the far smaller Dolomite Club I see the quantity and quality of their spares - run by the ...

Re: Clutch Judder
They won't last at all. The cheap repro ones (where ever you get them) have a life expectancy measured in hours. Go to Chris Witor, buy the proper ones and you'll be fine. It aint necessarily so. These are a brand new to the market item from a German supplier with a track record of producing qualit...

Re: national 2014
I am sorry but Anne and I won't be attending, its simply too much travel time for a couple of days on site, with the limited time we normally have available from the Business in the summer months. If I could have managed the Friday / Monday like Alan it would have been viable, but the distance / tra...

How about getting the Monarch adjustable Track Control Arms - sold for stags, but as we know fit 2000s, just dial up any required camber

Re: A-type overdrive - curing oil leak
....no replies :-( Has no-one ever had to work on the overdrive in situ? If it was a J type I could tell you. On the J type its possible to remove the overdrive from the gearbox, in situ, I don't see why it cannot be done with the A type too if necessary. Remove exhaust, disconnect gear leaver, dis...
