Re: Mk2 Front Wings.
Lloyd, I haven't agreed to return the panel yet. You have told me to bring the panel back on a day and time you specify and you expect me to do so at my expense with no guarantee of you actually refunding the money.

Re: Mk2 Front Wings.
I thought it would be fair to Lloyd to update this.
He has finally agreed to refund me for the badly made wing and I am waiting for the cheque to be posted to me.

Re: Triumph rally photos
I have looked in the Gaydon picture library for other Triumph stuff in the past, is it still there ? All of the workshop pictures I looked at were black and white but they were of the Le Mans Spitfires. Castrol did a sort of advertising book at about that time with some colour pictures, I will try a...

Re: Differentail clonk
I bought a set of the GKN CV driveshafts when they first came out, the shafts were OK but there was something wrong with the hubs as the bearings came loose after about 50 miles. I never did find out what the problem was and after they had been returned I bought some of Datsun shafts from Chris W. S...

Re: Rear brake problem.
It really is a long time since I have worked on my car. They don't have the type of self adjusters I thought they did ! It should still be possible to release the toothed lever though. It's a case of studying the workshop manual and doing it by feel I think. If they don't adjust when it's all back t...

Re: Mk2 Front Wings.
Thanks for the comment David but to be honest I am really starting to think I am a very unpleasant person. I have no tolerance for those who I feel are taking advantage of me ! Despite sending yet another email to Lloyd he still hasn't contacted me. I put the drivers side wing up for sale on here an...

Re: Rear brake problem.
Undoing the hand brake cable might give you just enough to get the drums off. Have 2000 drums got a hole in, it's been so long since I looked at mine I can't remember ? On some cars that do you can unwind the self adjusting mechanism a bit. Normally it's the unworn bit of the drum that the shoes don...

Re: Which distributor to use?
It's been years since I even thought about any of this so did a search.
This came up and thought it might be of interest.

Mk2 Offside Front Wing Repair Panel.
I have decided to try and sell this panel as I don't want to fit it on my car. It was supplied by Lloyd Reed and apart from cleaning the rust off, it is as supplied. It was described as being a half wing but was made 1 1/2 inches taller than standard so if you need a larger repair panel but not a fu...
