Why don´t you just take the side windows out, wrap a huge piece of vinyl round your car through the open windows and then put the glass back in, voilá. I have been told by the grandson of the first and only owner (before me) who has passed away, that it is an original item. I don't know if this is true though

Poppers for estate boot cover wanted

I do have a colour coded boot cover that came with the estate, I have never seen this before but it does look quite original. It is attached to the wooden cappings with poppers similar to TR hood poppers only smaller and plastic rather than metal. I have checked rimmer and the likes but couldn´t fin...

OK, finally I found some time yesterday to do a little work on the car. The ignition seemed to be ok but as there was a pinking noise when accelerating, I just set it it a bit earlier and the noise seems to be gone. It also seems to rev a bit better (and higher that is) but still feels quite sluggis...

PI all the way. I have my TR6 for 15 years now, no problems with the PI system in the ca 100.000mls I did.

Cheers for the quick replies. My VIN is MP9224SCO so they are a few cars apart, I was hoping they´d be very close.
What does the SC stand for as I reckon O is for overdrive, right?
