Hi there,
sorry for the late reply, I second everything John said but want to point out that there is indeed a buyers guide on the register site: https://triumph2000register.co.uk/the-c ... -download/
Best regards
Thorsten

Re: CV joints
Hi Kev, I've been running a set of CV driveshafts for 16 yrs now and can't complain - it's really fit and forget! I've done at least 40k miles until now without a problem ... As mentioned before you're looking for Stag items for a Mk2, TR6 ones are too short. I believe CDD offer Mk1 items as well. B...

Re: Steering adjustment this weekend
Tony, good point. Tried to check that as good as I could in a hotel car park. Went to a KwikFit today and got the wheels re-balanced. Seems as if the front wheels both have a slight knock. With loads of weights added the steering vibration is better but not gone. Still have a strange sensation at 60...

Hi John, hi Charles,
Yes, you’re most probably right. I’ll go drive the car up north now and see if I can get the tyres balanced somewhere...
Cheers & see you next week,
Thorsten

Steering adjustment this weekend
Dear all, On my way to the National I’ve experienced some troubles with my 2500 Mk2 (manual steering) which ended in not reaching the ferry from Rotterdam to Hull in time. I’ll give it another try tonight (as I’m 20km away from the ferry terminal I’m positive that I’ll make it this time - fingers cr...

Re: Converting 2500 from left hand drive to right hand drive
Hi John,
I wonder if you are describing a post-Brexit scenario there? AFAIK there are no customs duties between EU countries. So make use of the common market as long as it is still there for you!
Kind regards
Thorsten

Re: BW65 possible replacement for BW35 ?
Hi all, Thank you for your replies - very much appreciated! Meanwhile I had a change of plan, but got stuck at a particular point: A mate offered to overhaul my BW35 (orig Mk1 PI, 7EZ... Plate), but is unable to get the proper brake bands. I tried with Jpat but got stuck at the question if I need fl...
