Re: Converting 2500 from left hand drive to right hand drive

Hi John,
yes, I’m planning to come to the National. Will check the ferries and do the booking this weekend!
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Already excited 😊

Re: Converting 2500 from left hand drive to right hand drive

Hi John,
I wonder if you are describing a post-Brexit scenario there? AFAIK there are no customs duties between EU countries. So make use of the common market as long as it is still there for you! :)
Kind regards

Re: BW65 possible replacement for BW35 ?

Hi all, Thank you for your replies - very much appreciated! Meanwhile I had a change of plan, but got stuck at a particular point: A mate offered to overhaul my BW35 (orig Mk1 PI, 7EZ... Plate), but is unable to get the proper brake bands. I tried with Jpat but got stuck at the question if I need fl...

Re: National Update

Quentin,

thanks a lot for the tip! Just watched the episode online on ITV player - funny to see so much TV footage of a 'familiar' place! On top of that, we've spent the Easter weekend in Newcastle and explored the Sage Gateshead just like Vera in the same episode... :-)

Best regards

Re: LHD power rack

Hi Alan, this might be no real help, but since no one else came forward ;-) All the LHD cars I have come across or heard from were non-PAS. Although one person once told me he owned a saloon with PAS in the 1970s, I rather he confused the car with a Triumph Stag. However, the Rimmers web-site sugges...

Re: Tr6 driveshaft vs 2500 driveshaft

Hi Edwin, as Lee pointed out the TR shafts are shorter than saloon shafts. If you are referring to a Mk2 Estate you could use the CV driveshafts offered for the Stag which are the correct length. I am using these CV driveshafts since 2004 (approx. 60,000 kms) in my 2000 Mk2 Estate and 2.5 PI without...

Is this car known to the Register? Looks quite smart... I guess the text says converted in 1991.
