The 'Grip' you talk of is measured as The Coefficient of Friction. COF for Tyres on Tarmac dry is about 0.5 - 0.8, wet it is reduced to 0.25 - 0.75. Tyres on ice have a COF as low as 0.06, 10 times less friction than on tarmac, but not Zero. Ice on ice is about 0.02, a third that of tyres on ice. I'...

The Cibe units are very good, with H4 lamps in. You really ought to put a relay in the system though.

I don't know where would be best to take a sample from, but I can tell you from personal experience that standing diesel can grow a fungus, like a very fine black furry substance. It was sufficient to block the fuel pick up on my Range Rover, diesel had been in tank for about 4 years. I really recom...
