Re: Ex Register Car?
Maggie Roberts, the Register Membership secretary, may be able to give some information about the car, with data protection in mind, of course. This would be only open to Register members I would think though....... Thanks, I wasn't really after any info, I was just wondering if anyone remembered s...

Re: new MK1 WHEELS
Hi guys, Thank you again for your answers. Shipment is not really a problem but I worried about two other points : - I was thinking that the wheels were not the same between mk1 an mk2 : Bolt spacing ? I'm wrong ? - Does some old steel wheel are really better than mine ?... They were looking fine b...

Ex Register Car?
I've recently acquired another Mk1 saloon. The car's last road tax disc is from 1999 and was last taxed in Cambourne in Cornwall. The keys that came with the car have a 2000 register key ring on them, so I was wondering if anybody knows this car or if it was a former club car? The registration numbe...

Early Mk1 Pi swirl pot wanted
The early Mk1 Pi's (Such as mine) didn't have the swirl pot inside the fuel tank like the later Mk1 & all Mk2's had. They had a separate one which sat next to the lucas fuel pump and looks like a space ship! My one has just started to leak, so I'm looking for another one if anybody has one for sale?

Re: Pi Fuel Pumps
[quote="Jonathan Lewis"]If wanting to migrate away from Lucas, I think that your options are largely restricted to Bosch or one of the generic replacements (Sytec?). Some research a few years back found suggestions of a Pierburg unit capable of maintaining the pressures and flow rates demanded by th...

Pi Fuel Pumps
What are people running on their Pi's? I've been trying to keep to the original Lucas pump on my Mk1 Pi, but reliability & performance issues are tempting me to look elsewhere. Has any one used any other pumps that can provide the high pressure required? I know that Malcolm at Prestige does a conver...

Estate? Have another look Ted.TedTaylor wrote:A Mk1 PI estate - and a very tidy one as well by the look of it and for so little money.
It may be a left hooker but suggest someone gets the hell over there and grabs it quick!
