Safe to say a touch slower than your efforts Ross, I put my PI into a dry warm workshop last year, its now gathering dust to create my own barnfind The 2000 is due to get some attention shortly though..

Wanted..RH rear spring mount
As the subject hints at, I'm after a RH rear spring mount repair panel, none of the usual suspects have any in stock.. plenty of LH ones though. They are on Lloyd's radar but if someone has one they can spare now, that would be great.

Hello Ross, the car is looking good mate.... Regarding carpets, Danny Hopkins from Practical Classics fitted Coverdale carpets in his 2000 MkII if I remember correctly, and he was reasonably impressed with them, I've heard good things about them elsewhere too.

Lloyd, I am firmly in the 'carry on with the original plan' camp, welding in a curved arch section can create a problem with heat distortion, as the joint will be mid-panel. The larger repair section will allow welding at the top, thus the crease will act to lessen this effect. Also, you haven't dev...
