Hmm.....
i can drive the car all day long, no matter if outside-tempeatures are 10 or 35 degrees, it runs well and troublefree....but once i rev it over 4500 it starts to cut-out (from the sympthoms it sounds /looks more fuel related)...it recovers after a few seconds and runs normals again when keeping the...

Re: Heater refurb
The Mk2 heater is usually a pretty good unit that provides plenty of heat. The usual suspect is the control valve on the side of the unit in the drivers footwell as mentioned before. Make sure it is in the fully open position and flush both ways using the stubs that go through the bulkhead as menti...

Re: Rubber floor mats
Thanks for the replies. NKC570 is not listed in the Dolomite or Dolomite Sprint parts books. Have ordered a pair from Mick Dolphin. They are actually for a 1500fwd (which has a narrower transmission tunnel than a Sprint). I am thinking of commissioning a version for the Dolomite range back footwells...

Rubber floor mats
Anybody able to help please?
I am looking for a front rubber footwell mat as sold for the mark 2 models.
Condition not important.
Part no. NKC 570
Alternatively, less likely I know, a pair of good used ones.
thanks,
Ian.

Hmmm.....
Being a slant four Dolomite owner this is a familiar problem although on these the solenoid does usually click and the car eventually fire up. On the Sprint I had in the 90s the starter would just stop altogether. I did fit a new original solenoid to effect a cure but they solenoids are no longer av...

Re: Bottom radiator hose - PAS cars
Yes cut the non-PAS hose to suit and, if it was me, I would fit a stainless steel pipe

Re: replacement radiator
That looks a good fitment Michael. The long top hose will comfortably absorb the movement of the engine. I cannot tell from the photo, but I wonder if the radiator is a little low relative to the top of the engine? Obviously if it is so, you simply jack the front of the car up when filling the syste...

Well.....
Hi Chris, below is a link to the clock panel https://www.chriswitor.com/proddetail.php?prod=715555SH I can possibly help with a dash panel but it is from a Dolomite. If nothing more suitable fails to turn up it could be a compromise option? Ian. PS your thread heading should read 2500S rather than 2...
