Personally love autos. wouldn't have anything else for my daily driver. Why would you? No-one would consider these days buying a decent car that didn't have power steering, electric windows, central locking - electric starter motor even, so why this anachronism of manually changing gears is perpetua...

Chris W has done a piece on gearbox x-members for the Feb SIXappeal which is being mailed out this Tuesday (28th jan). May be something there that may help?
