Body shells
I came across this post from a few years ago on Facebook with what looks like a complete body shell in very good condition. https://m.facebook.com/Triumph2000Register/posts/1600510063328766/ If anyone knows the owner of this body shell if it’s still a body shell (or any similar one) I would be inter...

Mk2 Tow Bar Wanted
I am on the look out for a usable tow bar for a Mk 2 saloon. I have seen they’re available new from a few places but I wanted to see if anyone has a complete tow bar that they are willing to part with. If it needs shot blasting and powder coating that’s fine. If it’s rusted through or bent then mayb...

Re: Tow bars
Thanks all for the advice, suggestions and pictures! A tow bar is definitely on my wish list of parts; I will keep the fitting and mounting advice in mind. I will look into ordering one!

Tow bars
Hi all, As my car is currently up in the air and apart for other upgrades, including having the fuel tank out, I was considering adding a tow bar for the odd occasion I need to tow a small trailer or maybe a small caravan in the future. I have seen the TSSC sell what appears to be a "bolt on" tow ba...

Re: PI Conversion -- Fuel Lines etc.
Hi all,
Thank you all for the replies! I did read them at the time but forgot to reply. Project is progressing nicely and fuel line queries have been addressed.
Thanks,
Oliver

PI Conversion -- Fuel Lines etc.
I took my 2000 saloon off the road in September after I moved house to start a PhD; it is now in my parents garage with the longer term aim of converting it to PI. It was running fine when it went in, I just did not have anywhere to park undercover which is becoming essential due to the increase in ...

Interior moulded cardboard parts
I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for replacement moulded cardboard parts that go beside the centre console and cover the top of the passenger parcel shelf for Mk2s? A pattern drawing would also be useful. They have been rather tatty in my car since I bought it. I don’t think they are in g...

Fuel warning light always on
Since I fixed the earthing issue my car had I have now set to work at fixing all the other minor electrical issues which the earth problem was partially masking. The most annoying of them at the moment is the fuel warning light is stuck on. The sender unit appears to be working as the fuel gauge wor...

Re: Bad Earth Problems
I found the cause of my problems. It's a weird one, at least in my experience. The very short earthing strap from the battery negative to the suspension turret was not connected when I bought the car. I now realise this was becuase the battery terminals were on the side facing towards the centre of ...

Bad Earth Problems
Hello, What started as a 'simple' job to swap out the radio and the dashboard has ended up being a wiring disaster. I believe the problems are caused by a bad earth which I have managed to disturb in the disassembly process. The interior light works sporadically but most of the dash warning lights, ...
