I asked Rimmer about this and they answered that their tuftride 214559 should also fit on MK1.

I'm just surprised that CW have a tuftride shaft for all... except MK1 !
If someone have tested it... ?

Re: new MK1 WHEELS
Hi guys, Thank you again for your answers. Shipment is not really a problem but I worried about two other points : - I was thinking that the wheels were not the same between mk1 an mk2 : Bolt spacing ? I'm wrong ? - Does some old steel wheel are really better than mine ?... They were looking fine be...

Re: new MK1 WHEELS
Thank you. It seems difficult in/from France. The market is small and I'd like to check before to buy...
I'll have a look if it's possible to rectify these old wheels.

new MK1 WHEELS
Hi all,
Do you know if it is now possible to buy "new" steel wheels for 2000 MK1. Mine turns "square" and I am afraid that it is the same for all occasions.
Thanks
Fabien

2000 MK1 1966 Coat system
Hello,
Preparing a repainting job on my mk1, I tried to know which was the coating system in 1966 on these cars to know if I can respray on it without risks.
Was it already some polyurethane coating or cellulosic ?
Thanks
Fabien

Re: Diff info
Hello Jeff, Sorry I can't give you an answer. But I'm surprised. I have exactly the same configuration on my 2000 (1966) and I use it on the highway as a modern one without difficulty. GPS cruising speed at 120-130km/h (75-80 mph). Top speed (without exploding the engine...) probably around 90 mph. ...
