Re: Buying versus restoring

Re: Buying versus restoring
These replies have been really helpful I guess it is easy to be tempted by what appears to be a low mileage mint car from a dealer but as you all seem to say getting a car with a good body is better long term and price might leave more riggle room for potential problems Finding a decent solid car br...

Buying versus restoring
Looking for a 2.5s in top condition but wonder what would be best route to take and would welcome your thoughts The dilemma is whether to wait and pay top money for one or buy a good base car then get it restored. Cars with low miles in best condition seem to be attracting £10 k upwards from dealers...

Converting 2500 from left hand drive to right hand drive
Hi Folks
May have chance of 2500 TC residing in France and wondered if anyone had any advice or experience of converting this model to right hand drive?
Also any ideas about who you could recommend to do the work?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts
Regards

Re: lost 2.5S
Hi Folks Back again after a break in pursuit of my previously owned 2.5S UJD 202S .Think I have managed to track it to the Ipswich area in 2004.It was owed apparently by a member of the club.Does this jog anyone's memory as to it's existence and or current whereabouts. Any info would be gratefully a...

Re: lost 2.5S
Thanks for the reply Alan. The MOT findings, as you say are worrying but I am hopeful that that the car still exists. I will post when I get a response from the DVLA route re it's existence and/ or it's state of repair. If the car had been scrapped wouldn't it have been taken off the DVLA database al...
