Sounds much like the fuel side rather than electrical as johnnydog says. Mine had been off the road for ten years and sure enough the carbs were silted up , once cleaned up ( I took mine off) it was fine,

Yes I thought it may interest some people especially if we find out that each others cars came from the same dealership then perhaps look into time scale in which they were there. :D

I still seem to be struggling with mine , got the seal from Chris , It looks right but when bonded on it won't shut , it is pushing up on the longest edge closed to the window , has anybody got any pics with the boot up showing the seal in place , any more tips and advice would be truly grateful
