Re: Genuine help from you experts needed!!
So had the call today - 'box is out, stripped. They found reverse and top clutch bands (quote) 'burnt right out'. Along with the usual seals and gaskets all shot. Still would not state that is my issue, but to me it sounds absolutely it. Top gear clutch band burnt out - i would assume thats why i ha...

Re: Auto flex plate removal
I have since looked on CW website and he does do bushes , a few choices so i am not quite sure which one is applicable to mine - i was not aware of that part, so hopefully resolved, assuming they can remove the original bush. I maybe should of checked there first before the ' panic' message here but...

He says it wont budge, and doe...

Re: Wiper blades.....again....
I agree! The car goes in the morning for the big ( probably expensive) trip to the transmission repair shop so it will be an interesting few weeks methinks - see what they come back with....i believe they do a test drive before anything so im really keen to see if they can get it to travel over 50 m...

Re: Wiper blades.....again....
Another small but annoying job sorted ! So yes those screws do indeed hold the bracket and union/ gasket to the body. Impeller was fine, so carefully eased off the gasket with a sort of ' backplate' to expose the inner face of the union and sure enough there was another small dollop of gloop. Was no...

Re: Wiper blades.....again....
Yes, i noticed the gasket. Right, so nothing to lose then, by unscrewing the 3 small phillips screws. And see what i see... as an aside, how many second hand ones do you have in stock i did wonder about an air line blow through?

Re: Seat Refurbishment
Yes, i believe so. It sounds like our exterior and interiors are the same! My car has been ' lucky' in that it has spent all its non driving life in a garage of the two owners it has had, thus not been constantly exposed to baking sunlight. I do hope he can help, although i get the impression he has...
